The Royal Rumble Match

Prophecy:As you know, the winner here gets a title shot at Mania. Of the announced participants, Randy Orton, Taker, and RVD are the only ones I see having a real shot. For whatever reason, I don't think the WWE will let the rumble determine the ECW champion's opponent for Mania, which eliminates RVD. Orton is due for a title run soon, but I can see Cena still feuding with Umaga at Mania. So unless Orton changes brands, which I doubt will happen since Raw already lost HHH, that only leaves Batista's opponent for Mania to be determined. All the wrestling news sites are saying that Taker vs Batista is "penciled in" for Mania, so right now Taker seems to be a very good bet.

Prophecy:The Undertaker or Shawn Michaels, to me it's down to these two for who will win the Rumble. HBK would be the perfect choice for the Raw mainevent with Triple H out for a little while, and Taker was recently screwed out of a World title shot. I have to go with Taker and pray the rumors he'll lose to Boretista at Mania aren't true.

Prophecy:I'm changing my pick to Shawn. For a start, it's in his hometown: thus; hometown hero. Secondly, he promised to win the Rumble. Thirdly, there is no doubt that Undertaker will get a Title shot at WM23 against Batista, but I think he'll win that oppertunity at No Way Out.

Prophecy:I've changed my mind. I don't care who wins RVD deserves it though.

Prophecy:I like what they've done with this match putting in some entrants from all three brands but ECW championship won't be the Wrestlemania main event this year maybe in the future but not this time. Taker seems most likely to face either Umaga, Cena or Batista. Rob Van Dam is so much cooler though.

Prophecy:This is probably Taker's best chance for a title run, being that he's undefeated at Mania.

Prophecy:Normally I go with the favourite to win the Rumble, but this year I'm going out on abit of a limb here with HBK. There's quite afew possibilities here, with Kane, Undertaker and even Edge or Orton a good chance. HBK is keeping DX alive without HHH, and what better way to continue the DX flow with a Rumble win. Bear in mind Edge also screwed him out of a title shot in the recent battle royal and that this will be in HBK's hometown. Go DX!

Prophecy:He will win the World Heavyweight Title at Wrestlemania!

Prophecy:The raw title picture is more confusing. HBK vs. Cena would be a great choice but I don't think Vince wants a more over face to wrestle Cena but yet his son-in-law was suppose to challenge Cena this year. Then you have Edge who already had a program with Cena. Which leaves Orton but Orton is not as over as Edge. Either way Cena is gonna get booed out of Motown at WM 23 especially if he wins at the RR. So i'll go with the Deadman

Prophecy:Getting difficult. It's now between the Undertaker and Shawn Michaels. Seems certain to me, after last night's events, that we'll see Taker versus Batista at 'Mania. HBK has also been very strong recently. But in the end I don't think HBK will get a third rumble win (something only Stone Cold has done), so it's time for Taker's first.

Prophecy:Everyone here will know my opinions of Undertaker,i hate the guy in ring.his entrance,his way of puttin people over etc etc. I hope he doesnt win this, id like to see CM Punk win it but theyre in the middle of burying him for getting more cheers than DX at Survivor Series.

Prophecy:This is a tough choice between Undertaker and HBK. On one hand, Smackdown has won 3 out of the last 4 Royal Rumble matches, so it's definitely time for a Raw guy to win. But, I still think Undertaker has a better shot because he has never won it and HBK has won it twice.

Prophecy:There's still a few participants to be announced, but Taker will more than likely be at WM anyway. If he doesn't win here, he'll get in some other way.

Prophecy:I have to agree with the tocc on this one. But the past few years there has been a pattern on what brands wins the rumble. In 2005 Raw won the rumble the next year smackdown won the rumble. I am saying smackdown will win the rumble again because of taker but if Orton from raw won and jumped brands I wouldn't be suprised. Besides why would Orton want to face Umaga for the title at mania anyway.

Prophecy:Taker is undefeated at Mania........hopefully they won't mess another undefeated streak up lol. He's never won a Rumble, and that'll give him even more accomplishments.........this'll be his final title reign before he eventually retires. Taker Rules!

Prophecy:now that shawn is a single wrestler he has gone way to the top and since the origanal plan was for triple h to face cena at wrestlemania they want either shawn or orton to face john cena but since the rumble is in michaels hometown San Antonio,Texas they might have shawn win the rumble.

Prophecy:Of those that are so far being accnounced, Taker sits with the best bet. ECW, lets all face it, its getting chunked on. Word is that Batista will finally break Undertaker at Wrestlemania. I dont think thats gonna happen yet, but it might just. I think this is Ortons year, and I may change depending what happens between Rated RKO sikce Edge bailed on Orton last week, that may cause tension.
